Where Golf + Math = Fun
Where future “Golf-Mathletes” are encouraged to play, learn, and grow.
Future Fairways is an enrichment workshop program that combines the game of golf with hands-on math learning to help kids build confidence, curiosity, and character. Founded by high school student Bennett Hong, the program uses fun, rotating stations — putting, chipping, and golf-themed math challenges to make learning active and rewarding.
With every swing and every solved problem, kids earn stamps on their scorecard toward becoming a “golf-mathlete,” discovering that growth can happen both on the course and in the classroom.
How it Works
Rotate between Stations: Putting, Math, Chipping
Complete 1 Station = 1 Stamp on Scorecard
After 3 full rotations & 9 stamps = Certified Golf-Mathlete
Putting Station
Putting
At the putting station, kids learn how to aim, control distance, and read the green, turning focus and patience into fun. They’ll work on short putts, learn proper grip and posture, and even discover how angles and speed affect the roll of the ball.
Math Station
Golf Math
At the math station, kids solve golf-themed word problems that build real-world skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and logical thinking. Each worksheet is tied to something they’ve just learned in golf, making math feel active, relevant, and rewarding.
Chipping Station
Chipping
At the chipping station, kids learn how to get the ball up and onto the green with accuracy and control. They’ll explore different clubs, shot types, and targets, developing not just technique, but confidence and creativity in how they approach challenges.
